Music of time past
I was one of the first people through an unofficial hole in the Berlin Wall in the early hours of 1990.

I revisited Berlin in September 1999: more pictures and reflections later.

Wasted Time
From 1914 to 1989: war between major industrial powers. From 1990, a window of perhaps 30 years, until the instabilities of global warming, oil depletion and nuclear weapon proliferation run out of control. What a waste... but enjoy it while it lasts. |

Don't ask me about my synthesis
Gay clubs are nothing like what the words of To speak is a sin suggest, but that song conveys a world of what might have been...
...if I hadn't wasted my youth on mathematics...
Everything I want to do, it's a synthesis

Time for music
I'm good at keyboard improvisation. It's my DIY attitude again. | | |
I have completed an album of ten songs called queer spirituals.

I live close to this lake in Oxford.
On the Thames-side of Oxford, my Zweite Heimat, midway downstream towards London, my first home.
My genes are pulling me...

Virtual memory
Every day I'm lucky to be alive.
Many former comrades are not.
So much lost.
So much to do, so little TIME.

Virtually normal?
There's nothing normal about my work on
twistor diagrams. |
